Overview

Sweetwater Branch Tributary is a tributary of Sweetwater Branch Creek. This is a small urban creek in the City of Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida. It flows in a southwesterly direction from Waldo Rd. (SR 24) and NE 5th Avenue south under University Avenue (SR26) and southwest under SE 11th St. The land use affecting the creek includes 13% commercial, 86% residential, and a small amount of natural land. Rosewood Creek flows into Sweetwater Branch near SE 8th Avenue and 9th St.
